Liron Lavie
Liron began her journey as the social media manager of Politically Correct and became a leading figure in shaping media discourse in Israel. She expanded audiences, promoted diverse perspectives, and founded the bi-national writing program for Jewish and Palestinian women—a groundbreaking enterprise that provides women with the tools to integrate into the world of media.
Beyond her managerial role, Liron works to transform public discourse—she edits, guides writing processes, and leads projects in the field of gender representation in the media. Understanding that words shape reality, she strives to expose gender and class distortions and to create a more critical, fair, and balanced media space.
On a personal level, Liron also breaks glass ceilings—she and her partner participated in the documentary series Couples Therapy, bringing a first-ever authentic and honest portrayal of a lesbian relationship to Israeli television. Through courageous personal exposure, they sparked a public conversation about love, communication, and the challenges of same-sex relationships, aiming to shift perceptions and create meaningful representation in the media.
